My membership hasn’t started yet, can I cancel before it begins?
First, it’s worth checking to see if you are eligible for a 14-day cooling-off cancellation instead, which you can read more about here.
If you’re not eligible, as you signed up on-site but you are requesting to cancel before your agreement start date/start date of use, then you may do so for a cancellation fee of £55.00 with any refunds or additional charges adjusted based on the fees already paid.
To submit a cancellation request under this policy, follow these steps:
1) Click “Submit A Request” below or here
2) Choose “Cancellation” from the drop down and fill in all the required fields, including your cancellation reason
3) In the description, please ensure to write “cancelling before my agreement start date/start date of use”
Our team will review your request and will come back to you with your options including your eligibility and any charges and/or refund due.
If you’ve changed your mind and your membership is still active, you can withdraw your cancellation request with these steps:
1) Open the Gymbox app and go to Studio.
2) Select Self-Service.
3) Tap on Contract Data, then select the cancelled Active Membership.
4) Click on “Withdraw Cancellation” and confirm by clicking OK.
Your membership will remain active, and the cancellation request will be withdrawn.
If your membership has already lapsed, then you can reactivate with the Member Services team by clicking “Submit A Request” below or here.
